I am so sorry to hear this – it is, quite literally, shocking news. Betty was a lovely, warm, funny person – very full of life every time I met her. From what you had said at the jam each time I had asked after her was that she had had some minor health issues but I never thought beyond that. What actually happened? Whatever it was I hope she passed away peacefully and without pain. I am sure you did your absolute best for her.
