Since we are a family that lives scattered about the UK I didn’t get to meet Auntie Betty on many occasions but whenever I did I was always struck by her playful spirit, her feistiness and her fierce love and protectiveness for you Matthew, Peter and Richard. I do hope that over the time to come you do remember with a smile all the happy moments you spent together and what a lovely down to earth lady and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother Auntie Betty was.
