Anne and I were deeply shocked to hear of Betty's sudden demise. We know she had been ill but seemed to have recovered her old spirit. It is a great sadness and we send our warmedt sympathy and condolences. I always thought of Betty as full of life and cheerfulness, with such kindness and positivity. We shall miss hera lot and we hope you and the boys will be borne up by the whole of St. Peter's congregation (and more widely) as you say your goodbyes.
